Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-14
This Privacy Policy explains how Revenue Grader (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication data via our authentication provider.
- Email you give us on a report. When you ask us to monitor or re-grade a page from a report, we collect the email address you enter. We confirm it with a one-time link (double opt-in) before we send anything.
- Scan inputs. The URLs you submit for grading, and the publicly available HTML content of those pages that we fetch to analyze them.
- Scan results. The grades, scores, and recommendations we generate, stored so you can revisit them.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we store limited billing metadata (e.g., plan, status, customer ID).
- Usage data. Product analytics events (e.g., pages viewed, scans run) and standard server logs, used to operate and improve the Service.
How we use information
- To provide the grading Service and store your reports.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send transactional emails (e.g., receipts, report-ready notices).
- To re-grade or monitor a page you asked us to watch, and to email you when its grade changes.
- To send occasional product tips on improving your grade, after you confirm your email. You can unsubscribe from these at any time using the link in any such email.
- To analyze and improve the Service and prevent abuse.
Email and your choices
If you give us your email on a report to monitor or re-grade a page, we confirm it with a one-time link, then use it to re-grade that page, email you when its grade changes, and send occasional tips on improving your grade. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can stop the monitoring at any time. Transactional messages tied to a purchase or account (for example, receipts) are not marketing and are sent regardless.
Pages you submit
We fetch only the single public page URL you submit, using a clearly identified automated agent. We do not attempt to bypass logins, paywalls, or access controls. Do not submit URLs you are not authorized to analyze. The content we retrieve is used to generate your report.
Sharing & sub-processors
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of the data. These include hosting/CDN (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), payments (Stripe), transactional email (Resend), product analytics (PostHog), and an AI language provider (Anthropic) used only to rephrase recommendations. Some providers may process data outside your country; we rely on their standard contractual protections for such transfers. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain account and scan data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Analytics & cookies
We use a privacy-focused product analytics tool to understand how the Service is used. It may set cookies or local storage to measure usage. You can block these with your browser settings or an opt-out extension; the Service remains functional without them.
How we process submitted pages
The scores are produced by a deterministic engine. We may optionally send extracted text from the page you submit to an AI language provider solely to rephrase recommendations for readability; this text is processed to deliver your report and is not used to train models.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by your local law), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the “last updated” date and, where required, notify you.
