How the grading works
We built a grader that judges a page by what it’s actually trying to do — not a one-size checklist. Here’s exactly how your Revenue Grade is produced.
1. Safe fetch
We retrieve the public HTML of the single page you submit, using a clearly identified bot with strict timeouts and size limits. We never bypass logins or paywalls, and we block requests to private networks.
2. Signal extraction
We parse the HTML for dozens of signals: headlines, calls to action, forms, pricing, trust badges, reviews, structured data, contact details, mobile viewport, page weight, and more.
3. Page-type & business-model detection
We classify the page across 11+ page types and a dozen business models, with a confidence score so you know how sure we are.
4. Adaptive scoring
We grade nine dimensions, then weight them with a rubric tuned to your page type — proof and CTA dominate an ecommerce product page; message clarity and CTA dominate a SaaS landing page; trust and mobile dominate a local business page.
5. Prioritized recommendations
Every failed check becomes a specific recommendation, ranked by an impact score that blends severity, the dimension’s weight for your page type, and how quick the fix is.
Why deterministic, not a black-box AI score?
Your scores come from a transparent, rule-based engine — so the same page always gets the same grade, the reasoning is explainable, and we never invent results. (AI is used only, optionally, to phrase recommendations more clearly.) That’s more reliable and more honest.
